SEARCHING FOR CHURCH!

WE FOUND THIS SMALL LITTLE BAPTIST CHURCH ON PALM VALLEY ROAD LIKE 5MILES DOWN FROM OUR HOUSE AND WE JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! THE PASTOR AND HIS WIFE ARE REALLY YOUNG LIKE IN THEIR 30'S AND THE CHURCH HAS A SMALL CHIOR IT REMINDS ME OF EAST 44TH WHEN WE FIRST STARTED GOING! THERE ARE ABOUT 100 PEOPLE ON SUNDAY AND ABOUT 20-30 ON WEDNESDAYS AND IN SUNDAY SCHOOL MAYBE 50-75 SO ITS SMALL BUT NICE! THE FIRST NIGHT WE WENT , EVERYONE WELCOMED US , MADE US FEEL RIGHT AT HOME AND THE NEXT WEEK REMEMBERED OUR NAMES WAS REALLY GREATFUL WE CAME BACK AND JUST ACTED LIKE THEY KNEW US ALL ALONG. EVERYONE IS REALLY LAID BACK THERE AND FRIENDLY! TONIGHT CHRISTOPHER TALKED TO THE PASTOR FOR LIKE AN HOUR AFTER CHURCH THEY HIT IT OFF REALLY WELL, HE TOLD CHRISTOPHER HE SOUNDED LIKE HE NEEDED TO GO TO SEMINARY SCHOOL! WHICH I THOUGHT WAS KINDA COOL BECAUSE HE HAS FELT LEAD TO BE A PASTOR AND ONE DAY WANTS TO BECOME A PASTOR! I THINK THEY ARE GOING TO BE GOOD FRIENDS, HE ALSO TOLD US THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A PART TIME YOUTH LEADER SO I KNEW THAT WAS RIGHT UP CHRISTOPHER'S ALLEY! I KNOW HE MISSES THAT ABOUT OUR OLD CHURCH, DOING THE YOUTH AND TEACHING SUNDAY SCHOOL, SO IF ITS GOD'S WILL THAT THIS BE OUR CHURCH MAYBE HE CAN GO BACK TO TEACHING AND PREACHING LIKE AT OUR OLD CHURCH! ITS EXACTLY THE SAME STYLE AS EAST 44TH ST. THEY HAVE A SMALL CHIOR AND THEY SING HYMNS AND DO CHRISTMAS MUSICALS AND STUFF! WE JUST REALLY FEEL WELCOME AND LOVED THERE, I KNOW IT MAY BE TOO SOON TO SAY THIS IS GOING TO BE "OUR CHURCH" BUT IT JUST FEELS SO MUCH LIKE A HOME AND WE REALLY LOVE IT! JUST KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS SO WE MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS IN FINDING THE CHURCH WE ARE MEANT TO BE IN!

Fall Festivals and fun with pumkins!

So this year I have to work Halloween night, which I don't mind because I don't really celebrate Halloween. However, I love going to the fall festivals that churches put on! We took Isaiah to a fall festival put on by chick filet the other night and it was crowded but fun, he dressed as a lion and my niece was a gator cheerleader! Then on Wednesday I took him to a pumkin patch in Mandarin and he got his first pumkin that we will be carving, here are a few pictures from those two events and I will post more when I take him to spooktacular at the Zoo on Sunday evening!

4 year Anniversary and Fall vacation~

Our 4 year Anniversary was Thursday October 9th so we decided to celebrate by going out on a date! We went to Chilis to eat and then to see Fireproof and it was an awesome night! We had a rough night the night before at church but this was a great time to make up for it! Friday evening we left for the mountains to stay with Christopher's Aunt Tammy and hike the beautiful mountains! We went to Clingmans Dome, Anna Ruby Falls, and another trail with a waterfall at the end and they were all breathtaking! We also took Isaiah trout fishing for the first time and we all had a blast! We just got back home yesterday late evening so it was a short but much needed time off! We were able to see the pretty fall colors as the leaves are changing however they were not at their peak for the fall! Here are some pictures that show the beauty we saw!

October 2008

I am glad its FALL I love the perfect weather! I love the season! We have a busy two months ahead of us! April is getting married on my birthday November 29th! And my friend Heather is getting married December 6th! Isaiah is growing and talking a lot, he keeps us laughing and running! We have had a great time with him! Christopher works as an electrician and I work nights at the hospital as an ACP we love it because I can still be a stay at home mom and babysit my nephew Colton a few days a week! Well thats all for now, I will be posting pics and blogs all the time so keep up!
